Possible $7,500 Reward For Info On Drive-By Shooting Suspect
Back on Friday, December 17th, a 4-year-old child passed away following a drive-by shooting, and police are asking for the public's help.
It happened in the 700 block of East Ursuline Street at around 8:50 p.m. Lubbock Police responded to the area after receiving a report of shots fired.
On arrival, officers learned that the victim, 4-year-old Cornelius Carrington, had been transported to University Medical Center by private vehicle. He was later pronounced dead.
So far, investigators have only been able to determine that the shooting was a drive-by. Police have provided the above image of the suspected vehicle.
Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to call Crime Line at 806-741-1000. A $7,500 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
The reward was originally $5,000, but the law firm of Kerby & Wade, P.C. donated an additional $2,500.
