It's another Thirsty Thursday when we feature one of the best drinkin's songs in country music. Today's song highlights two country music icons, Willie Nelson and George Jones.

"I Gotta Get Drunk" is a song that was written by Willie Nelson and has an interesting history. It was the title of an album that Nelson's then label RCA released in 1976. The original title of the album was "Country Music Concert". It was collection of live recordings from 1966. Back in '66, Willie didn't have long hair or the red bandana. So the label put an updated picture of Nelson on the cover of the album.

On the re-issue, the song "Night Life" was left off the album and replaced by a studio version of "I Gotta Get Drunk".

Here we have Willie singing the song with his buddy George Jones. Set'em up and let's have another round.
