Texas Tech Homecoming Brings Out the Traditions

There are five days of events scheduled for Texas Tech's Homecoming week, October 12-16. It's student events, homecoming queens, special guests with all the events leading up to the Kansas State football game Saturday night.

Coming up next Wednesday will be free food and live music in the Student Union building and a competitive sing between student organizations takes place that night at 8 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena.

Thursday at noon Preston Pugmire, a one man band, performs in the Student Union Courtyard. Friday the Homecoming Court will be announced at the Rowdy Raider Rally at noon just outside the Student Union. The Texas Tech soccer game against Kansas takes place at 7 p.m. at the John Walker Soccer Complex on the southwest corner of 10th and Texas Tech Parkway.

If you have a ticket to the Kansas State football game, admission to the soccer match is free. For more info on all the events, contact the Tech Alumni Association.
