Texas Tech Cheerleaders In Top Five In The Nation

They are enthusiastic. They're athletic and they show a lot of spirit. They are the Texas Tech Cheerleaders. Once again they proved that they are one of the best spirit squads in the country.

The Tech cheerleaders last Friday placed third in the 2012 National Cheerleaders Association and National Dance Association Collegiate Cheer and Dance competition in Daytona Florida.

Over 270 team competed for the title. Tech was edged out by teams from Oklahoma State University and the University of Louisville.

So congratulations to the Tech cheerleaders because they work hard. They are out there keeping the fans spirit high even when the teams are not doing that well. That's a hard thing to do.
