A Lubbock cashier was held at gunpoint the evening of Sunday, March 20th.

Lubbock Police were called to the robbery a bit before 8:30 p.m. in the 100 block of North University Avenue. Which business the incident happened in was not specified.

The suspect approached the checkout counter with items from the store before pulling out a handgun and pointing it at the cashier. KAMC News reports that the suspect told the cashier "Don't remember my face."

Police later obtained surveillance footage that showed the suspect exiting through the front door. The cashier was not able to say whether or not the suspect left on foot or in a vehicle.

The suspect was able to be clearly seen in surveillance footage, but his face was covered. The only descriptor was that he was a Black male wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

As of Friday, March 25th, the suspect had yet to be located.
