Lonestar 99.5 Thanks Lubbock Animal Services With A Pizza Party

Lonestar went out to thank Lubbock Animal Services for all the incredible work that they do, and we surprised them with a pizza party, a whole bunch of delicious Urban Bricks Pizza!

It was a great gathering with the terrific team there at LAS! They have about 300 animals and definitely have their hands full. They welcome volunteers and you can pitch in just by stopping by to walk a dog in your spare time.

More volunteers are needed to walk dogs, and spend some quality TLC time there. It will be great exercise and it feels terrific to help these wonderful dogs waiting for a forever home.

So follow this link to the volunteer application and get involved. Volunteer Orientation class is now being offered on set Tuesdays and Saturdays. It's really easy to get signed up for an orientation class and begin to help out at LAS!

Once you've taken this simple class you can stop in at your convenience and walk a dog or pitch in on whatever else you are able to participate with.
