Unique and Original Americana Duo Dawn & Hawkes to Play Cactus Theater on July 27

Fall in love with the wonderful Americana duo Dawn & Hawkes, here in Lubbock for one show Thursday, July 27th at the legendary venue The Cactus Theater.

Their music has a special haunting, melodic, romantic spirit. Their lyrics and harmonies are original, fresh and endearing, and Dawn & Hawkes have an unquestionable star quality and exude a sweet gentle charm.

They fall in the genre of Americana and folk, but I find their music has a broad appeal and reminds me of country duo Thompson Square.
