On this "thirsty Thursday" is a song from a singer that combine folk and country music. In fact Emmylou Harris sang at the local folk clubs in Greenwich Village.

She recorded and tour with legendary Gram Parsons, who was responsible for the country-rock movement in the late 60's and early 70's.

In the mid 70's she sign Harris was on Reprise Records and later on it's sister label Warner Bros where she garnered several Top Ten hits and Number One songs.

One of those Number One songs was one written by Lubbock native Delbert McClinton. It's called "Two More Bottle Of Wine".

What is really cool sometimes is you get to see the person who sang the song and the songwriter perform the song together.

That what I have here. First is Harris' version that topped the charts, then she singing with McClinton and a little different arrangement of the song.

So check it out on a 'thirsty Thursday".
