After the Navy Seals took out Osama bin Laden, the debate rages over the showing of photos of a dead bin Laden. Republican Mike Rogers of Michigan, who chairs the House Intelligence Committee, is hoping the administration doesn't release the photos of a dead Osama bin Laden. He believes the pictures could be seen as a "trophy" and anger U.S. critics overseas.
CIA Director Leon Panetta has said at least one photo will probably be released.
I remember 9/11 and I would like those photos to be release to show what happens to those who mess with the USA. I also feel that this is the land of free speech and with the government holding on to these photos would be a form of censorship. Besides, with the technology we have today the photos will probably get out anyway on the internet and such.
This morning Jane and I asked the question should the photos be released or not. Listen to what some listeners had to say.
