Three Injured in Crash in 1900 Block of 50th Street

On Monday, three people suffered moderate injuries in a crash that happened in the 1900 block of 50th Street.

According to KAMC News, a car was traveling east on 50th Street while an SUV, pickup truck and another car were traveling west.

Police say that the car that was traveling east crossed the turning lane and drove into oncoming traffic. It then scraped the SUV and hit the pickup truck head-on. The second passenger car then rear-ended the eastbound car.

A driver and 2 passengers in the eastbound car were the ones who suffered moderate injuries.

LPD also says that the pickup truck was a vehicle owned by federal homeland security.
