The Original Maines Brothers Band Live August 12th In Lubbock
They are celebrating 51 years of making music.The Maines Brothers Band original members will be together for one-night only Saturday August 12th at Lubbock's Civic Center.
This is sure to be a very special reunion show with many of your favorite songs like Break the Fall and Amarillo Highway.
The four brothers on guitar, bass, percussion and vocals Lloyd, Donnie, Kenny,and Steve Maines are joined by Jerry and Randy Brownlow, Cary Banks, Richard Bowden and LaTronda Maines as well as Terry Allen, according to Wikipedia, to form the Maines Brothers Band.
Their father and uncle James and Sonny Maines got their start as The Maines Brothers in the mid-50s, soon followed by their sons, who started out as The Little Maines Brothers Band and eventually took over The Maine's Brothers Band name in the '70's.
They've held regular reunion concerts through the years. With at least 9 albums and many classic hit singles they have a lot of wonderful music to bring to this concert.
