Friday begins the big Easter weekend celebrations and varying entertainment choices, but of course kids of all ages love hunting for Easter eggs. You'll get a chance at Buffalo Springs Lake this weekend at their annual Easter Egg Scramble beginning at 2p.m.

For the last couple of years in Lubbock it seemed that every time you turned around there was yet another motorcycle accident--with a fatality! A special event in Lubbock this weekend, hosted by The Fallen Riders Memorial Fund of Texas will focus on safe riding.

Last week my daughter and I were fortunate enough to find a perfect place for a kid's birthday party with a "dance theme". And after following a few safety and cleanliness rules, the event was a success.

I know it's the start of Spring Break, but if you're in Lubbock and looking for some great entertainment, you're in the right spot this weekend. The legendary Michael Martin Murphey is appearing at the Office Grill and Sports Bar Friday night.

There are some wonderful entertainment events going on in Lubbock leading up to Valentine's Day, Tuesday. There's everything from theater to music venues to the movies.
