Russell Dickerson to Release Debut Album in October
Fans of Russell Dickerson's single "Yours" will get to hear more from the singer-songwriter this fall: Dickerson has announced that his debut album, Yours, is due out on Oct. 13.
Produced by Casey Brown, Yours will feature seven brand-new songs as well as the five tracks available on Dickerson's Yours EP. Dickerson co-wrote all 12 of the songs; a complete track listing is below.
"I'm beyond stoked to have my first full-length album out and available for pre-order!" says Dickerson in a press release. "The support from my fans is what has brought me this far. The Yours EP has changed my life, and I cannot wait to see what the Yours album will bring!"
In addition to "Yours," Dickerson's song "Blue Tacoma" has garnered the country up-and-comer radio airplay and earned him a spot on Thomas Rhett's Home Team Tour. This fall, Dickerson will be on the road with Florida Georgia Line -- old friends from their time at Nashville's Belmont University.
“They came to one of my very first shows, ever, in Nashville. And, afterwards, they were like, ‘Man, it’s so good, we should write songs together,'” Dickerson recalls to The Boot. “They didn’t have a band name yet. And so we were writing songs just because we love writing songs. At the time, they were super cool for us, the best songs we’d ever written, all of us.”
Yours is available for pre-order via iTunes. A list of all of Dickerson's upcoming shows is available on his website.
