Years After Closing in Lubbock, a National Cookie Company Reopens in the South Plains Mall
The most dangerous thing about going to the South Plains Mall is not only all the shopping opportunities, but the smell of food. That food smell just got a little more familiar and warmer.
Mrs. Fields is back at the food court and ready to serve you.
A couple years ago, the Mrs. Fields location closed down because the couple that ran it retired. But now there's good news for cookie lovers in Lubbock. They location is now under new ownership and are open to serve you.
Mrs. Fields is known for warm, freshly baked cookies right out of the oven for customers to enjoy. It was started in 1977 by Debbi Fields out in California and only grew from there.
I really don't think there's much better than a fresh warm cookie or cookie cake, and now we can enjoy those treats and more with ease. I'm the kind of person who always gets a cookie cake for my birthday, so hopefully I'll be trying one in March.
The Mrs. Fields kiosk opened up the first weekend in December and is ready to serve the Lubbock community. With all the new additions to the mall it is just driving more traffic and excitement.
This opening comes after two restaurants (Bubba's 33 and Uncle Julio's) were added, along with the new Paleta Bar that recently opened as well. So the next time you go to the mall, it may look a little bit different.
You can find out more information on Mrs. Fields and even preorder what you want on their official website. You can also keep up with all the changes at the mall on the South Plains Mall's website.
