
Lubbock Police Officer Injured in an Accident With a Citibus

A Lubbock police officer is recovering after being involved in a car accident with a Citibus. According to the Lubbock Police Department, 25-year-old Officer Wyatt Myers was involved in the accident on Friday, April 3, 2020.
Officer Myers was driving southbound on Avenue E. when he collided with a Citibus traveling east on Broadway, driven by 55-year-old James Cabe. They both collided at the intersection and hit a traffic signal pole.
Officer Myers was taken to UMC with non-life threatening injuries. The bus driver, Cabe, was not injured.
