Here in Lubbock, we celebrate Earth Day with a long-standing tradition of using clean, affordable wind power in order to toss as much of the earth into the West Texas sky as nature will allow, so that it can be shared and appreciated by all who live close by. See? We care about our neighbors!

Look! Another happy tourist who is experiencing Lubbock for the first time!

Seriously, today sucked. On a lot of levels. First, we think that hail the size of puppies is due to hit us at any minute (didn't happen), and then we deal with a scene out of the opening credits of "Total Recall". The only thing missing was Kuato busting out of someone's gut and imploring us to "start the reactor".

Now, if you'll excuse me. I have to use my leaf blower and blast all of my red dirt out of my entryway and into my next door's front yard. See? I'm a giver.
