Every family has traditions and that's not untrue of the country music family. Little Big Town, in which two of the members(Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook) are married to each other and have a child, and another of the four is married with children so Christmas becomes quite a 'family time' for all of them. Kimberly Schlapman, one of the members and mother of four year old Daisy, shares a Christmas tradition her family did while she was growing up...giving special Christmas pajamas and wearing them on Christmas Day. Kimberly influenced fellow musicians who performed on the CMA Country Christmas 2011 earlier this month. Fairchild loves the newly-adopted tradition, "Now I'm picking out Christmas pjs, which is fun. It's only my second Christmas season to pick out little Rudolph pajamas." I love Little Big Town's tradition and plan to steal it for my own family's fun. So, I'm headed to the pajama department. Here's their new holiday single.
