Lakers Ron Artest To Change His Name [AUDIO]

Ron Artest of the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers is trying to get his name change. Maybe it for the better.

Artest, you may remember, was the guy, when he was playing for Indiana, went into the stands in Detroit and started fighting with fans.

Maybe Artest wants to be seen in a different light, rather than a brawler. He wants to change is name to "Metta World Peace". "Metta" is a Buddhist word for kindness and goodwill.

I kind of like what Jimmy Kimmel had to say about the name change on his show recently.
