The last time around we looked at where to eat in Levelland. During that post, we established that we’re pulling our top five not strictly from Yelp ratings, but from the number of reviews. A larger number of reviews can tell a different story. It gives us an idea of where people keep showing up, what places have built a reputation, and what restaurants visitors feel strongly enough about to discuss.
We’re also leaving out any fast food chains that may sneak into the rankings. This is about finding those local flavors.
The Most Talked About Places To Eat In Plainview, Texas
Tex-Mex tops our list with the most-reviewed restaurant in Plainview: Leal’s. It looks like brisket tacos, carne guisada, and classic tacos are some of the top choices here. It’s exactly the kind of place you hope to find when you’re road-tripping through West Texas.
Coming in next is Cotton Patch Cafe. This is where you get that home-cooking feel with chicken-fried steak, fish & chips, and even some Cajun offerings. It’s comfort food with plenty of options.
Broadway Brew takes third place with a selection of sandwiches ranging from Italian to chicken salad and just about everything in between. They also feature soups and salads, making it a solid stop for lunch.
Mia’s Pizzeria & Restaurant gets raves for both the food and the prices. Spaghetti and stromboli are listed as standouts. In fact, Mia’s looks so good it makes you wonder why we don’t have more restaurants like it in Lubbock.
Closing out our list is Taqueria Jalisco. The offerings look to be that classic Mexican/Tex-Mex mix featuring carne guisada, tacos al pastor, and enchiladas verdes.
