This song was written back in 1954, was recorded by the "Blues Brothers", in 1978 and in 1983 it went to Number Two on the charts for country singer Johnny Lee. The song "Hey Bartender.

 

Johnny Lee worked with country legend Mickey Gilley on the road and at Gilley's club in Pasadena, Texas. When the movie "Urban Cowboy" was shot there, Johnny Lee became a major star with a song he recorded called "Lookin' For Love". It was included on the soundtrack of the movie and spent three weeks on top of the Billboard country music charts.

That song started a string of hit songs one of which was "Hey Bartender".
