
Guitars Stolen From Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Imagine being a musician, let alone a superstar musician, to find that the guitars you've made a signature sound with for decades has disappeared and has most likely been stolen. Five guitars belonging to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were taken from a sound stage in Culver City, California during rehearsals of their upcoming tour according to Petty's website on April 13th. Culver City police are currently investigating the theft and $7,500 dollars has been offered for information that leads to the guitars recovery with no questions ask. One of the guitars is the incredible '67 Rickenbacker 12 string. Another a '65 model Les Paul SG TV Junior. The others were highly collectable guitars belonging to the rest of the band.
