[UPDATE] Deceased Man Found at Lubbock’s Carriage House Inn Identified
[UPDATE] Police have released the name of the man who was found dead in the parking lot at Carriage House Inn and Suites: 32-year-old Gabriel Salazar.
[ORIGINAL STORY] Lubbock police have yet to learn the identity of a man who was found dead under suspicious circumstances in the parking lot of the Carriage House Inn and Suites.
According to the Lubbock Police Department, officers responded to a call Sunday morning before 10 a.m. from a person who noticed a man on the ground in the inn's back parking lot. After arriving, police discovered the man was dead.
Homicide detectives were called to the Carriage House due to the nature of the man's death, police said in an email statement.
The man did not have any personal identification on him, said LPD Public Information Officer Tiffany Pelt. The Lubbock Medical Examiner's Officer is currently working to help identify the man, Pelt added.
Police have asked that anyone with information about the incident to call the Crime Line at 741-1000.
