The USDA has issued another listeria-related public health alert.

The Peter DeFries Corporation out of Albuquerque sells assorted sliced deli meat products. And at least one restaurant with two Lubbock locations has used them as a supplier.

Dion's restaurants have used this company's products before. No Dion's restaurant has been cited for listeria, and there are no current cases of listeria being reported.

So far, all of the contaminated products have been, or are being, disposed of. But if you ate at either Lubbock Dion's location recently, you should throw out any leftovers.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service: "The sliced roast beef, ham, pastrami, and turkey items were produced between Dec. 14, 2016 and Dec. 29, 2016, however product may have been available in restaurant locations through January 4, 2017."
