Texas Department of Public Safety Confirms Fatal Crash on Slaton Highway

The deceased person in Tuesday's crash has been identified as 66-year-old David Danks. Danks was the passenger in the car. The driver was taken to Covenant Medical Center with unknown injuries.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says the vehicle was traveling East on US 84 when the driver lost control. The vehicle veered off the roadway and rolled due to the driver over correcting. Danks was ejected from the truck.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has confirmed that the crash was fatal. The identity of the deceased remains unknown.
Just before 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10th, reports came in about a crash near the All American Chevrolet along the Slaton Highway.
KAMC News reports that a driver was ejected, but the extent of their injuries remains unknown.
Emergency Medical Services, Lubbock County Sheriff's Deputies and Slaton Police responded to the crash.
