A collision happened the morning of Tuesday, March 15th and left multiple people injured.

Lubbock Police were called to the intersection of 130th Street and Slide Road just after 9 a.m. for reports of a collision.

Officers determined that a pickup truck, pulling a trailer, was traveling south on Slide Road when it struck a Corvette driven by 48-year-old Jennifer Pyeatt. The pickup then collided with another pickup, pushing it into a guardrail.

The trailer the first pickup was pulling became unhitched due to the collision and slid south on Slide Road. An SUV was struck by debris from the collision, as well.

The drivers of both pickups suffered moderate injuries, while Pyeatt was said to have suffered series injuries. She was transported via ambulance to University Medical Center.
