Ask for a Taste at United Supermarkets

Subscribe to Lonestar 99-5 FM on

Have you ever walked around the produce section at United Supermarkets and wondered what something tastes like? We all have. And now at your local United store, you don’t have to wonder before you buy.

Brenda Garcia joined us this week to discuss apples and the Ask for a Taste program at United Supermarkets.

The Honeycrisp Apple is very popular, but there are a ton of other apples you should try. The next time you are in the produce section of United, ask a United employee if you can try an apple or any fruit they may have.

The folks at United will be happy to assist you when it comes to trying something new, according to Garcia.

Speaking of apples, Garcia gave us some great ideas for including apples in meals. In the video above, Garcia talks about making your own applesauce as well as using apple slices in a grilled cheese.
