Marty Robbins is considered to be "one of the most popular country singers of all time," with an incredible career that spanned four decades. Best known for his signature song "El Paso," this Grammy award-winning legend was named Artist of the Decade by the Academy of Country Music (1960-1969).

The Legendary Song Jammers is comprised of West Texas musicians, including lead singer and bass player Jerry Brownlow of The Maines Brothers Band, Cary C. Banks, singer/songwriter/musician and Chairman of the Creative Arts Department at South Plains College, Steve Williams Associate Professor of Music at South Plains College Levelland and Curtis McBride, a prominent member of the West Texas music scene since the 1960s according to the Cactus Theater website.
