In Lubbock we love Texas Tech so when a new store to support and show love for our school comes out we get excited.

This is the first time I have heard of Sideline but I have seen the sign and progression for the store coming along so I have been excited for it.

When you check out their social media you can see they have a lot of really cute Tech stuff like hats, shirts and so much more that is like nothing we have here. They are unique designs, simple but cute.

The company was started by a group of Texas Tech Alumni that have a love of the south, style, college and the perfect hat. It all has style but with a fresh take on clothes to represent your school out and about, on gameday or tailgates.

They are officially licensed with Texas Tech, SMU and Texas State. They say their "biggest goal is that you leave an event or our web-site with the best service and experience around after purchasing the most elite products." Most of their products are made here in America and are ready to have you show of your school pride.

Here is a look at some of their hats they offer.

They also have a lot more cool stuff that I want to wear and think are really awesome. Now I know this doesn't affect most of us but they did say they have some more universities coming even though they already have the best one yet.

Their grand opening is happening on Monday, August 15th 2022 at Kingsgate shopping center. Their actual address is 4210 82nd St Suite 228, Lubbock, TX 79423. You can find out more about them on their website.

Texas Tech Will Go 5-7 if the FPI is Correct

The ESPN FPI, or the Football Power Index, is a mathematical formula like they have in any other league. It claims to, "measure a team's true strength on net points scale; expected point margin vs average opponent on a neutral field." according to ESPN. The projected results are based on 20,000 simulations of the rest of the season using the FPI as a model. The preseason projections are incomplete because a large piece of the puzzle is results that have already happened, impacting the remaining schedule. So, based on half the puzzle, Texas Tech is projected to get wins in five of their games. These projections change daily once the season starts, but it's good to get a baseline on what is analytically expected of you heading into the season.
