A New Petting Zoo Is Bringing Family Fun to Lubbock

People in Lubbock are always looking for something fun to do, and I think this is going to be a great new go-to spot for families in Lubbock. It's something we just don't have right now, and the story behind it is great.

Just announced on Facebook, Old MacDonalds Petting and Family Fun Farm are coming very soon. They said they have been working on this dream for six years and they have finally done it. The group says the petting farm will be a safe and family-orientated place. There will be activities for families, but an emphasize on the education side of things as well. The facility will be open to families, school field trips, reunions, church events, birthday parties and so much more.

It will be a petting farm, but also have horses for people with special needs. I think that is such an amazing idea and something Lubbock really needs.

According to social media, the location will come in stages. In stage one, they'll open the park and allow everyone to come in. Once they start making money and getting people in, they will finish two other stages in the coming years. Once it is all done, it will be about 20 acres in total.

While there's admittedly not a lot of information out right now about Old MacDonald's, they said more will be coming very soon, along with an opening date. They're currently building and ready to see everyone soon.
