So - who is this 'Amy Lee' chick?  Well - I figure that I've been talking to you through the radio every morning for the last few weeks that I should probably give you a little more information about myself!

I hear inquiring minds want to know.  Really?  You mean folks really want to know silly things like my favorite move or my greatest fear?  Well, ok.  (BTW  I believe wholeheartedly that “Tombstone” with Kurt Russell is the BEST. MOVIE. EVAHHHHH!!!! And I literally fear for my life when walking into my teenage son’s room!)  Let me introduce myself to you!

My name is Amy Lee.  I’m a mom, wife, sister, niece, aunt, friend and enemy.  I started radio 15 years ago in Odessa where I was born and raised.  Yes – Odessa, TX – and yes - I did graduate from Permian High School!  I transferred to Lubbock radio in 2004.  I am heavily involved in my kid’s activities.  My son Jacob is a varsity football player at a local high school for which I am the booster club president.  He will graduate 2015.  My daughter Bri will be entering Jr. High next year and she plays drums in a little rock band with School of Rock and is honor choir at her school – she is my music baby!  My husband is a RN which is nice to have around!  He and I started dating when we were 16 years old.   We met at a Permian Football game as a matter of fact. I am very passionate about a few things – my family – music – and my kid’s activities.

That pretty much sums up everything about me aside from the fact that I like long walks on the beach – ha, not really – I’ve never even seen a beach, or an ocean.  (Sad I know.)  But – if there is something that you would like to know about me – leave me a comment and ask me a question!  I’m happy to answer – I don’t hide much and I enjoy meeting new people.

And now I would like for you to tell me who YOU are.  Hit me up on Facebook by clicking here.  Or shoot me an email at 995AmyLee@gmail.com.  Or follow me on Instagram – AmyLee_995.  And of course – tune in every morning from 6a-Noon and I promise to play you the best new country out there and lots of it!  Because music in the morning is better than listening to the ramblings of those that just want to hear themselves talk.  Can I get an AMEN!?!?

Thank you for listening to 99.5 Blake FM – we play NEW COUNTRY – and we do it just for you!
