With Super Bowl XLVI coming up this weekend between the New York Giants and New England, players are probably conjuring up all their superstitions to help their team to the top prize. That holds true for New England Patriot receiver Wes Welker, who played four years for Texas Tech until 2004 when he went pro.

Wes says his moustache brings him good luck, and he says someone messaged him on Twitter that New England hasn't lost a game as long as Welker has had the 'stache. So, he's keeping the facial hair. The game is at 5pm Sunday in Indianapolis and I imagine we'll see a lot of Welker, moustache and all. Here's a great composite of his talent and makes you proud to call him a Red Raider!
