Want To Eat Dessert First? This Lubbock Nonprofit Event Is Just That
If you are an adult and love sweets this event will be right up your alley.
This is an intimate adults-only evening full of homemade desserts, appetizers, wine, and a silent auction. It also gives back to a great cause.
This event supports Girl Scouts in Lubbock as they achieve the mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
The Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains is proud to organize Desserts First, an event that features local chefs who create Girl Scout Cookie-inspired desserts all made by local chefs in a competition to find the best. Tasty wine pairings per dessert will also be offered.
All funds raised at Desserts First directly impact the work of Girl Scouts in the Lubbock community, by providing leadership and educational opportunities to girls from K-12 through adulthood. The money raised at this event is essential in making a difference not only in their lives, but in the lives of their families, friends, and the local community who are impacted by their leadership.
