Trans-Siberian Orchestra Warn Fans About Possible Ticket Scam
Trans-Siberian Orchestra is on their way to Lubbock, but you can't buy tickets yet. Well, you can, but you can't. Let me explain.
Tickets for Trans-Siberian Orchestra's upcoming "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve" tour officially go on sale to the public on September 16. But that hasn't stopped some websites from trying to sell them early. The band addressed this issue in a post on their official Facebook page:
We want to be clear that any site claiming to be selling tickets before September 16th (or the Fan Club Pre-sale September 7th-9th) are scalpers. If you choose to purchase tickets from these sites, we do not guarantee entry to our show.
Ticket scalpers are a sad fact of life. They are such a sad fact of life that sometimes they start selling tickets before they even have them. Think about that: They are selling you something they don't even own. It's a little weird and a little shameful.
We thought it was somewhat unprecedented that the group reached out to fans with the announcement below, but it's pretty cool, too.
It would stink to think you were getting a deal on some good seats, but then the ticket seller isn't able to fulfill the order.
Check out the message from Trans-Siberian Orchestra below, and get ready for the show on Saturday, November 26 at the United Supermarkets Arena.
