Thursday You Need to Tour Christmassy Homes in Ransom Canyon

We've gotten all the icy weather over with finally, and now you can safely enter Ransom Canyon area just east of Lubbock. Just in time to take in the 2011 Ransom Canyon Christmas Tour of Homes. This Thursday, Dec. 8, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. they are featuring four homes decorated to the hilt! And ticket sales benefit the Ransom Canyon Memorial Chapel. You'll drive through the canyon to take in the four homes that include the open concept home of Stephen and Julee Becker; the nativity scene collections of the past in Couilla Cunningham's home; Dave and Sheryl Engelking offer a Hill Country-style home with exotic safari theme; and the Andy and Heidi Wilson home, a cottage that's gone through major renovation with beautiful children's art throughout the house. In addition the memorial chapel offers a taste of hot apple cider, homemade cookies and door prizes!
