Thousands Show Up For Race For The Cure
The 17th annual Susan G. Komen "Race for the Cure" took place this morning and thousands showed up to help raise awareness and money for the fight against breast cancer.
In fact over 9,000 people took part in the race.
One in every eight women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women after lung cancer.
It was just awesome to be a part of this event and seeing all these folks showing they care.
