Texas Woman’s Death from Butt Injections Ruled a Homicide
According to KRON in Dallas, 34-year-old Wykesha Reid died back in February after her cosmetic injections at a salon to increase the size of her buttocks. And now, Reid's death has been ruled a homicide.
The report says the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office says Reid died of pulmonary silicon embolization, which is associated with cosmetic silicone injections.
Two salon workers have been charged with practicing medicine without a license. The Dallas Country District Attorney's Office says prosecutors are preparing to bring murder charges against the two workers.
According to the report, Reid's family says she went to the salon back on February 18. Her body was found at the salon the next morning.
