Texas Country's Randall King is set to play Cook's Garage Saturday, August 22nd, 2020, according to the venue's Facebook page.

King always puts on a tremendous show, so it will be great to see him live at Cook's Garage. He's been busy with live streams according to his Facebook page, but we can see he's back out on the road now and has a new single.

His latest single is "Hey Cowgirl." In the spirit of his roots, the sweet country sound of this song is just what we've come to love from King.

From down-home country roots, he hails from the West Texas Plains town of Hereford, according to his bio. His influences include plenty of iconic classic country artists, such as George Strait, Keith Whitley, and Alan Jackson.

His sound and songwriting have been described as soulful and authentic. You know him for songs like "Another Bullet" and "Mirror, Mirror" which he performed live in-studio here at Lonestar 99.5.

When he stopped in back in October 2018, he had just released "Mirror Mirror" and shared the story of the making of the video.

He also talked about writing a song with the legendary Garth Brooks. King sat down and penned "The Road I'm On" with Brooks. It ended up being Brooks' opening song for his tour.

Tickets for his upcoming show start at $15, and the show gets underway at 8 p.m. Cook's Garage is located at 11002 Highway 87. You can follow this link for tickets and details. We'll see y'all there!
