Texas Country’s Jordan Robert Kirk to Play The Blue Light in August

Texas Country's Jordan Robert Kirk is set to perform at The Blue Light in Lubbock on Thursday, August 29th at 9 p.m., according to their website.

It's the next generation of Texas Country musicians, including his full band with Dan Patterson. This will be a powerful follow-up to his participation in Prairie Nights to Neon Lights: A Celebration of West Texas Country Music on Thursday, August 22nd at The Cactus Theater.

Both these shows are ramping up to a special television event on PBS: The incredible Ken Burns Documentary coming to PBS beginning September 15th.

It's an important series, and a study of country music history like none other. It's been carefully researched, and we can look forward to watching just how country music has really grown to become America's music.
