One of the most familiar tv show music themes is that from "The Andy Griffith Show". Just about everyone from a certain generation can whistle along with it as images pop into our brain--images of Andy and his son Opie walkin' from the fishin' hole. Now the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency spotlights that song with an honor to country artist Darryl Worley.

That theme has been recorded by Worley and his songwriter/pal Wynn Varble for a text-to-give campaign in supporot of relief efforts caused by natural disasters. For every $10 donation (FISH to 50555) those who participate will get a ringtone of the recording. And now the wildlife agency has named Worley as its outdoor ambassador and through his efforts levees will be restores and equipment that was lost or damaged will be replaced. Here's some classic audio of Andy Griffth singing that tune that'll be around the next hundred years.
