The identity of the pilot who was killed in a plane crash near 37th Street and Avenue A in Lubbock on Monday has been released by Lubbock Fire Rescue.

Around 4 p.m. Monday afternoon (October 26th), a small airplane crashed in Lubbock in the 200 block of 39th Street near Avenue A.
