Ms. Davis was set to serve as this year's Grand Marshal of the SONIC Parade. A new Grand Marshal may be named before tomorrow morning

This year's co-hosts teamed up for a very special performance during the 2020 CMA Awards.

Though the ceremony will be closed, fans are still invited to celebrate the lauded songwriter in town that day.

Lubbock native and iconic musician Mac Davis reportedly passed away Tuesday, September 29th, 2020. He was 78 years old.
