Soon, the Eli Young Band's tour bus will need an extra bunk -- be it a tiny one. Bassist Jon Jones announced that his wife Sarah is expecting the couple's first child, a baby boy, due on Dec. 23. That makes two babies in 2012 for the ACM Award-winning group, as singer Mike Eli welcomed his first baby in July.

It’s hardly been a month since Mike Eli — frontman of the Eli Young Band — became a dad, but his life has already changed drastically. The new addition to the family has also given Eli’s bandmates a taste of what life with a child is all about.

A baby girl has officially joined Eli Young Band‘s brood. Frontman Mike Eli and his wife, Kacey, welcomed Kline Olivia Diaz on Monday (July 30) in Dallas. The little girl, who is the first child for the couple, weighed in at 6 lbs. and 15 oz. She was expected to arrive in August.

The Eli Young Band may only be two singles deep into their current album, August 2011′s ‘Life at Best,’ but the guys have already gotten the thinking wheels turning regarding their forthcoming third album.

If you go by the Academy of Country Music award presented recently, Lee Brice is one of the best songwriters around. He was co-writer, with Liz Rose, on the winning ACM Song of the Year, "Crazy Girl"( the Eli Young Band).
