Single-Vehicle Crash in North Lubbock Traps Driver Inside Their Vehicle

A single-vehicle crash early Friday morning left the driver trapped inside their vehicle.
On March 18th, the Lubbock Police Department responded to the crash just before 2:45 a.m. at 4th Street and Toledo Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the driver was stuck inside the vehicle and necessitated the use of the Jaws of Life.
The driver is said to have suffered serious injuries and was taken to University Medical Center for treatment.
Initial reports say the vehicle flipped and crashed into a fence.
