Reba McEntire is gearing up to launch her own podcast early next year in partnership with Spotify.

The currently-untitled podcast will put McEntire alongside experts on various subjects to discuss the challenges of life, how to overcome them and how to create happiness, both inside yourself and with others.

The fiery superstar discussed her new venture with Billboard, revealing why she wanted to do a podcast and how it's an extension of her existing storytelling abilities.

"I’ve always been a storyteller — I’ve made a career out of story songs. A great podcast, just like a great country song, tells a story," she says. "So when Spotify asked if I would be interested in partnering with them to do this, I thought it was a great idea because it gave me a new way to continue being that storyteller."

McEntire is no stranger to podcasts — she's appeared on Jesus Calling and Oprah's Master Class. The "Fancy" singer also named the podcasts she's been listening to, with one of them coming from her CMAs co-host Dolly Parton.

"I’ve been listening to podcasts with Nashville connections like Hunter Kelly and Ashley Eicher’s All Our Favorite People and the new Dolly Parton’s America."

"Maybe Dolly can give me some tips when I see her at the CMAs next month," she jokes.

McEntire is set to co-host the 53rd CMA Awards with Parton and Carrie Underwood on Nov. 13 on ABC.
