Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus Learns “Daddying”[VIDEO]

Becoming a parent is a life-changing event and Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus and his wife Allison say their worlds changed drastically four months ago. Jay and Allison's little girl, Madeline Leigh, was born December 17, 2010, and Jay tells "People" magazine, "Pulling away form the hospital, I just wanted to say to the nurses, 'Are you sure about this? I don't think either one of us is trained to do this.'" Allison says all she was thinking was "Just get us home safe!". Now that Madeline is four months old, Jay says they take turns getting up, with him taking the late shift. "I'm up so late that I'm used to being up at 2 a.m." He's in awe of his parental responsibility to Madeline Leigh, saying, "I am responsible for this life for the rest of my life!"
