Prom Time for Taylor Swift

The poor guy who asked Taylor Swift to his prom got turned down, just to be asked to be her guest at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Kevin McGuire is an 18 year old high school student in New Jersey who is battling leukemia and who's big sister launched a Facebook page urging Swift to go to the prom with her brother. More than 23,000 people have responded with a "like" on the Facebook page, and Taylor responded on her's with an apology and a response, , "Kevin, I'm so sorry but I won't be able to make it to your prom. But I was wondering, the ACM Awards are coming up...would you be my date? Love Taylor." The ACM Awards are April 1 in Las Vegas. McGuire's prom at Sterling High School in Somerdale, N.J. is June 1, which is also his birthday.
