Update: The previously announced carnival set for June 20-23rd in the South Plains Mall parking lot has been postponed.

KFYO News spoke with Ashley Knox, senior marketing manager at South Plains Mall, who said that the Pride of Texas Carnival had a scheduling conflict that prevented them from coming to Lubbock this week.

As of now, there is no rescheduled date for the carnival.

The days-long event, which will take place in the parking lot between Premiere Cinemas and Home Depot at the South Plains Mall, marks the Pride of Texas Carnival's first time in Lubbock, according to its Facebook page.

Each ride ticket at the carnival costs $1, and $25 daily wristbands will also be available. In addition to rides, there will be a variety of concessions and games of chance.

However, there is a discrepancy between the carnival and the South Plains Mall about the dates the event happens.

The carnival's Facebook post promoting the event says it's June 19th to June 22nd, while the South Plains Mall website says the carnival will be there from June 20th to June 23rd. We're looking to confirm which dates are correct, and will update this story when we know.
