People Come Up With Even More Ways to Stretch Your Dollars

The nation's economic woes have led American's to be creative with their savings. Here are some stats from a recent poll.

21% have given up buying a morning cup of coffee.
40% refilling their water bottle with tap water
70% favoring generic brands over name brands
43% cutting back on trips to the hair salon
49% bringing own lunch to work instead of buying it
30% giving up magazine subscriptions
20% canceling cable(!) or going for a cheaper package

There are some things people just won't do, like give up their cell phones. Over 50% say they've never even thought about it! I kind of think I'm in that group.  I can't fathom how I would function!
So, just don't go there.
