
One Person Killed in a Two-Vehicle Accident in Lubbock
One person was killed Monday evening after an SUV crashed into a motorcycle just before 6:30 p.m. in the 5200 block of South Avenue Q Drive.
Lubbock Police states a 2003 Lincoln Navigator pulled out of a driveway and failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle when the collision occurred.
The motorcyclist, 57-year-old James Ray Daniel, Jr. was transported to UMC where was later pronounced dead from his injuries. No one in the Navigator was injured. So far, no charges have been filed in the accident.
