ABC Rodeo Teaming up With Lonestar 99.5 for 74th Big Year

This year's rodeo is on March 31, April 1 and 2nd at the City Bank Coliseum.

We can't wait for the ABC Rodeo this year, we've gotten to spend a lot of time with the folks at different events to promote the rodeo and this year will be another big year for Lubbock's longest running event.

Lonestar 99.5 will be broadcasting live from the rodeo that includes all your favorite events like saddle bronc, bareback, steer wrestling, calf roping, team roping, barrel racing, bull riding, mutton bustin' and freestyle bullfighting.  Yes, that's right, The Office Grill and Sports Bar is sponsoring freestyle bull fighting that goes on after the rodeo with an extra session this year.

Slim Garner is this year's rodeo clown and barrelman and Greg Simas and Shane Burrell are the announcers. There's performances too from bull fighter's Dusty Tuckness and Gres Simas.

Kids can get a FREE ABC Rodeo ticket just by coloring a picture.  April 1st is United Supermarket School Days. From 5-6pm if you bring in pictured you colored yourself you can get you and one parent in for free!

Showtimes are at 7:30 each night with a 1:30 matinee on Saturday.

Bus services will be provided too!  There's FREE parking at United Supermarket arena with the shuttles running to the rodeo non-stop so no worry about not finding a spot.

The rodeo is raising money for the Boys & Girls Clubs Of America and Susan G. Komen.
